From a masterclass on Cobra's approach to no proof drinks, to a deep dive into n/a spirits production with FOH, to a hands-on ImagiNAtion Lab with Ritual and Monin, students will have the opportunity to learn about no & low from every possible angle while picking the brains of the industry's non-alcoholic leaders and champions.

Michael Moberly, Beverage Innovation Manager, Monin
Michael Moberly is a beverage educator, columnist, and event logistics specialist in Reno, Nevada, with 17 years of industry experience. Michael is the Beverage Innovation Manager for Monin Gourmet Flavorings in Reno, NV, and the owner of Temple Builders LLC, a beverage and events consultancy. Michael also is writes for Bartender Magazine, Saveur, and the Reno News & Review with his monthly column Liquid Conversations, which earned him Best Food Writer from the Nevada Press Association 2023-2026. He is also very good at wearing hats.

Shannon Michelle, Events Lead, Focus on Health
Shannon Michelle is a bartender and non-alc industry advocate living in Northeast FL. With over a decade of experience throughout the Jacksonville area, Shannon has extended her reach through competitive and educational efforts such as Speed Rack, BAR 5-Day, and most recently the No/Low Tour. As a sober bartender herself, Shannon has now set her sights on changing how we celebrate by championing inclusivity within bars and restaurants for the sober and sober-curious through her consulting and events work.

Joshua Gandee, Focus on Health
Since quitting drinking in 2017, bartender and creative Joshua Thomas Gandee has built a non-alcoholic culture through recipes, recommendations, and a love for bubbly water. He believes that a change in mindset can reshape identity and is dedicated to uplifting those around him. Joshua is the host of no proof, a podcasting highlighting the journeys of those evaluating their relationship with alcohol.

David Yee, Owner, Cobra Columbus
David Yee is a Partner and Beverage Director at Cobra in Columbus, Ohio. Cobra was a finalist
for Tales of the Cocktail Best New Bar in 2024 and Best Bar Team in 2025. David Yee was a
National Finalist for Bombay Sapphire’s Most Imaginative Bartender in 2020 and 2023, and won
the Tullamore D.E.W. Bar Stories Competition in 2017. His book, Mongolian Horse, was
published by Black Lawrence Press in 2022.

Alex Chen, Owner, Cobra Columbus
Alex Chen is Co-Owner and Director of Operations at Cobra. Alex was born and raised in Columbus, Ohio. A former top 10 finalist for Most Imaginative Bartender Competition presented by Bombay Sapphire and GQ Magazine and Top 10 Finalist for Bacardi Legacy Cocktail Competition. Chien was the opening beverage manager at Watershed Kitchen & Bar and worked as a U.S. Brand Ambassador for Bombay Sapphire Gin and a Brand Educator for Diageo Hospitality Group. Alex is the Director of Operations and Managing Partner of Cobra in Columbus, Ohio. Cobra opened to much acclaim, finishing Top 4 at the Spirited Awards in 2024 for 'Best New Bar' and 'Best New Bars' by PUNCH Magazine. In 2025 Cobra finished Top 10 in the Spirited Awards for 'Best U.S. Bar Team' and 'Best Restaurant Bar'.

Kayla LeRoy, Head Bartender and Co-Manager,
Cobra Columbus
Kayla LeRoy is the Head Bartender and Co-Manager at Cobra where she balances creativity and leadership at the bar. Kayla got her start in Detroit, Michigan where she discovered her passion for hospitality and the connections it makes. Along with dedicating time to educating and growing the team at Cobra, Kayla enjoys spending her free time outdoors and with her dog Chico.
