This immersive seminar will unveil the rich history and craftsmanship behind the Solera System, guiding guests through a tasting of Ron Zacapa’s “liquid solera,” including the new make spirit and samples from the distinct barrels used throughout the aging process.

Laura E Vazquez is the new National Brand Ambassador for Zacapa Rum and she is based in Miami, Florida. She joins the team after spending the last few years working as a Regional Brand Ambassador for Zacapa Rum & a few other DIAGEO brands.
Laura started her career 14 years ago with the distributor BreakThru and then transitioned to the agency/supplier side where she worked on brands such as Remy Martin, Jack Daniels, and Buffalo Trace. She has lived in Florida for the most part of two decades and has built strong relationships with key stakeholders in the market.
After receiving her undergraduate degree from the University of South Florida she went on to get her MBA from Bellarmine University in Louisville Kentucky. Laura worked in the hospitality industry all throughout her studies and it was through bartending that her passion for spirits was unlocked. Travel is also a big part of Laura’s life and she has had the honor of going to the Zacapa distillery in Guatemala to work closely with Master Distiller Lorenza Vasquez. Laura looks forward to sharing her knowledge and her love for this amazing brand with you & others across the US.
